My First Christmas Present

Last night I received my first Christmas present. It is an I.O.U., but one that I am willing to wait for. When I looked at the I.O.U., I know what it's name is and how much I wanted this item. I have prayed that I would be able to get it. It is expensive, but worth every penny.
Merry Christmas, enjoy your I.O.U.
God

Thank goodness for Angels on Earth! "J" in E.E. went before officials, asking them to allow families who have committed to adopt children in the country to proceed without using an agency. On Thursday, in the wee hours (US time) the government gave those families permission to proceed with their adoptions! What a great Christmas present! Word came yesterday, so although I don't have my little lady in my arms, I have that I.O.U., knowing that she is waiting for us. All we have to do is get our paperwork finished and sent to our princess' country.
