We have been blessed with two special daughters and two sons from Eastern Europe. We welcome you to follow our journey as a family of five, waiting to travel and pick up #6, with the ins and outs of family, education, farm life, and love!

Rainy Saturday

The weather was suppose to be nice today.  We were all ready for a day outside, picking up sticks and getting ready for spring and summer.  The showers came  and so, we didn't do much outside today.  Dasha was here for a little while and she and Hannah got in couple games of Hide and Go seek.  (I LOVE Hannah's hiding tactics.  She is still in the mode of if I can't see you, you can't see me!)

We went outside to see the baby calf.  It was Dasha's first time putting her hand in a calf's mouth. (A calf will suck on your fingers when you put them out.  The calf is hoping it's a bottle!) A calf's tongue feels rough, and if you are ticklish like Dasha is, it may cause you to giggle.  And so, once Dasha was done, Mila had to give it a try.  Mila giggled too.  Hannah giggled at Dasha and Hannah giggling, and bent down to peek through the door to catch a glimpse of the baby calf.

I love spring on the farm!
