Warm Weather

Today it is near 70 in central Ohio, so Grandpa and Grandma Layne delivered Hannah's new automobile. She had a blast driving her Princess FJ Cruiser up and down the driveway. I think she possibly likes going in reverse better than forward! Hannah has never been one to pose for the camera, but I caught her a couple of times without her head down! I can't wait for our Serbian princess to be home and ride with Hannah in her princess-mobile!

On the adoptions front, there are just a few items left until our homestudy paperwork is complete. Then it is up to the agency to come to the house and give us the updated paperwork so it is ready to send to Serbia. Let the driving begin! Doug's employer is out of Cleveland, so to be county certified, we have to drive up there. Our homestudy agency is around Cincinnati, so we have to drive two hours south to have it county certified. Ugh! We made checks out for the USCIS today. I just keep reminding myself it is all for a wonderful cause! It's just crazy how much the price has gone up in two years!

All I really wanted for Christmas is my princess. Doug has been working out of state and has been saving his extra expense money. On Christmas morning, there was an envelope for me. When I looked inside there was a picture of M, and a check made out to Reece's Rainbow. I have the best husband.

It's days like these when I am anxious to get more done, but it is really in someone else's hands, and all I have to do is wait for the mail to come or someone to call me. I would love to see spring in another country!
