One step closer...

... to bringing our little lady home!

Doug went today and mailed our dossier, headed across the "pond" to our little one's country. Talk about wanting to "puddle jump"!! I am so excited to have this much done. Now we wait. But while we wait-

-the girls' bedroom needs finished. There is paint on the walls, so we need to purchase and paint chair rail and crown molding. Then rearrange two rooms worth of furniture! YEA!

And what is a day in the adoption process without a hiccup?? Well, Doug went to the bank today with the directions of how to wire the money in hand. The bank didn't feel secure in knowing what to do, so asked that Doug get more clarification. (I'm glad for our little hometown bank, and not just "trying" to send that lump of money and being wrong!) Then, in the paperwork process, I forgot that you need to make a copy of your I-171 to have notarized, county sealed, and apostilled. Poor Doug went to have it apostilled, and the lady told him very politely, there was noting to apostille! Thank goodness Columbus is not a far drive for us!

YEA! I can hardly wait to hear from "J" on possible travel dates!
