Home again

We are home.  Our trip home was a whirlwind.  We got on a train at 4:00pm Thursday, arrived in Kiev around 10:30, got to the apartment after 11:00pm, and our driver was picking us up at 4:00am to take us to the airport on Friday morning.  We boarded a flight at 6:45am Ukraine time, flew 2/5 hours to Munich, Germany, 9 hours to Newark, NJ, and 2 hours to Cincinnati. Once we reached Cincinnati, we had a 2 hour drive home.  We got home right before 9:00pm and went to pick up our girls.
Saturday friends from church threw a shower for Eli and Max.  Sunday was church.  And Monday, the girls and I returned to school as a team of 3! :)
I'm still trying to get back into the swing of things, the time change and being a Mom again!  It's crazy that I had forgotten how much energy it takes!
Doug heads back to Ukraine on Sunday.  His Mom, Karen will be traveling with him.  During this trip, he will be bringing Elijah home.  We received an e-mail from our facilitator today that the team is still working on trying to get Max home sooner.  There is a slim chance that he might be able to come home when Elijah does.  This being said, we need to find the money tree! :)
