We have been blessed with two special daughters and two sons from Eastern Europe. We welcome you to follow our journey as a family of five, waiting to travel and pick up #6, with the ins and outs of family, education, farm life, and love!

An orphan no more....

This little lady who we fell in love with before ever kissing her sweet cheeks is an orphan no more.  We received word this morning from our in country team that she has a Mama and a Papa to call her own.  She has a home, a bed, a family.  What every child deserves.  She doesn't have to spend another night rocking herself to sleep and calming herself after a bad dream.  She has a Papa who is a protector and a Mama who makes her yummy meals.
Though that family is no ours, we rejoice that there is one less orphan in the world.

Prayers for our sweet Hannah who just doesn't understand that even though when we love someone so much, sometimes we have to let go.  She had all kinds of great plans for she and her sister and has prayed for a family for her.  :)  Her prayers were answered, just not the way she thought.

Tomorrow is a big day.  Our paperwork should be submitted in the land of sunflowers.  We should know at some point tomorrow.  Paperwork submission would mean that none of our paperwork will expire through the three month closure and we should travel shortly after adoptions re-open in the country.
